Graphic Printworks

A central part of my artistic practice is devoted to printmaking, especially collagraphy. In this medium, I work freely and intuitively, often drawing inspiration from the botanical etchings of Maria Sibylla Merian from the early 1700s. Rather than replicating her work, I use it as a starting point — a visual score I can jam over, reinterpret, and respond to in my own way.

Most of my prints are unique, hand-printed pieces, emphasizing the tactile and experimental nature of the process. Alongside these one-of-a-kind works, I also produce a selection of high-quality art prints using the Giclée technique.

Book Illustation

I illustrated the book A Safe Beginning (En Tryg Begyndelse), written by psychologist Ranka Skak. It is a well-researched and richly illustrated guide to pregnancy, childbirth, and the early stages of life. The book explores the emotional and physical aspects of giving birth and the beginning of life, and it was important for me to create images that supported both the knowledge and the care embedded in the text. It’s a project I’m proud of — one that speaks to the strength, vulnerability, and deep wisdom involved in becoming a parent.

Hostrup Church is a Romanesque church dating back to the Middle Ages, built around the year 1250. Originally, it served as the estate church for the manor of Solvig. Today, it remains a parish church for the surrounding villages of Solderup, Lydersholm, Rørkær, Jejsing, and Hostrup.

The Beginning of a Brand:

Back in 2006, when Mikkeller was still a small and passionate homebrewing project, I had the opportunity to create what would become the brewery’s iconic logo.  Together with Hans Kristjan Vinther, I also illustrated the label for Mikkeller’s very first beer. Looking back, it's meaningful to know that our early visual work helped shape the identity of a brand that would later gain international recognition in the craft beer world.

Album Covers

I have illustrated several album covers for Danish jazz pianist Rasmus Ehlers, who is also my partner. My visual work accompanies his musical releases and is created to complement the tone and atmosphere of the compositions. Our collaboration is rooted in a shared sensitivity — a natural extension of both our personal and creative connection.

Exhibited at Paris Art Fair

I had the opportunity to exhibit some of my paintings at the Paris Art Fair through a Spanish gallery — an experience that brought my work into an international setting and into conversation with a wider audience. It was a meaningful chance to be part of one of Europe’s major contemporary art events, where artistic voices from across the world meet and connect.
